Three Lions Clubs:  Everton, Liberty, and Connersville, began working together in late 2009 to organize the 2010 Thunder in the Park Tractor and Truck Pull.  This event is a combined effort by all three clubs.  Historically, the Everton Lions Club (and the Everton Volunteer Fire Department) had conducted this event each Labor Day Weekend from 1997 - 2008.  However, the event had grown too large for a single Lions Club to conduct.  In 2009, the club regrouped by asking the Liberty Lions Club and the Connersville Lions Club to join forces with them to host the event in 2010.

Each of the three area Lions Clubs has had a long history of serving our communities.  Each has conducted major events in the past, and it was felt that the combination would allow for an even bigger and better annual Labor Day weekend event for the area.  Beginning with the 2010 event, we have joined forces with Lucas Oil Power Sports in an effort to host one of the finest Tractor and Truck Pulls in the country.

In addition to the Tractor and Truck Pull, other activities are also being planned to complement the event.  Details of the other activities will be added to this website as they develop.

The Everton Lion Club will also still be hosting their annual Thunder in the Park Car and Truck Show on Saturday and Sunday morning.  For details about this event, contact Rick Wilson of the Everton Lions Club at:
